Dr. Dror Robinson (1)
Doctor Dror Robinson is a Senior Lecturer Faculity of Medicine within the Orthopedic Surgery department of Tel Aviv University. Dror Robinson received his B.Sc. in Medicine from the Hebrew University in 1983, his M.D. from Tel Aviv University in 1985, and his Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry in 1992. He worked as Resident and Consultant at Assaf Harofe Medical Center from 1987 to 2002. In 2002, he moved to Rabin Medical Center and was promoted to Chairman in 2003; his current position since 2005 is Head of the Orthopedic Research Department. His research topics mainly include Cartilage Stem Cells, Cannabis Therapy, and Advanced Biomedical Diagnostics.

Dr. Dror Robinson’s five-year longitudinal Israeli study goal was to evaluate inhaled cannabis use for diabetic neuropathy. He found it works and he now believes all diabetics should be inhaling cannabis flower. The study can be faulted for the lack of diversity with the 52 individuals sampled, however the study presents a 97% sample retention, and the evidence suggests every participant benefitted from the in-haled cannabis therapy.
