An Open Letter To Neil Young

So, I asked this question to ChatGPT,

“Why should Neil Young be interviewed on Reefer Medness – The Podcast?”

No surprise to all who know me, I am a Neil Young fan boy. I am sure the long time listeners of Reefer Medness - The Podcast have noticed. I have often pondered how I would like to ask Mr. Young questions about his relationship with cannabis. Both have influenced my the world, about the same time I started using cannabis I bought my first Neil Young album. In these 48 years, we have been through some great times and hard times together; the three of us. His songs have moved me forwards and at times, when needed, with taking necessary steps backwards to rebuild and reframe the world in which we live; all the while his music played through the smoke of my life. I have the: coffee-table books, the biographies--written by himself, friends, sister, and dad--posters from concerts, the albums/CD/Tapes/NYA membership, and the T-Shirt I often wear during interviews. It is safe to say, I have an understanding of Neil Young, as well as any other Rusties' knowledge base, to offer him an intelligent interview.

When we started this podcast I placed him on the top of the story board. He was the number one Influencer I felt we needed within our library. Early in the game I sent his representatives notes requesting his voice for our project. Of course we heard crickets. After years of random e-mails, silly notes, and generally off the cuff comments sent to Neil Young’s social media, I finally figured I should produce a properly prepared professional pitch. I took my life’s quest to be noticed by Neil to Artificial Intelligence (AI). At first, I was skeptical with using AI but after hearing back from colleagues and friends, all praising AI’s ability, I posted my question above.
